Two top aides to Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer are resigning in the face of an internal watchdogs investigation of alleged misconduct at the agency, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.
DOL chief of staff Jihun Han and deputy chief of staff Rebecca Wright are stepping down and are in the process of submitting letters of resignation. A DOL spokesperson confirmed their departures.
The New York Post first reported the resignations earlier Tuesday.
Neither Han nor Wright immediately responded to requests for comment Tuesday.
