Magaziner: Kash Patel should 'take a lesson' from local law enforcement

Source: Providence Journal Staff

Rep. Seth Magaziner, D-R.I., told CNN News Central Anchor John Berman Dec. 15 that he hopes FBI Director Kash Patel and President Donald Trump "take a lesson" from Rhode Island law enforcement's handling of the investigation and to not "jump the gun" with public announcements before all the facts are known.

"I give a lot of credit to our Rhode Island elected officials in not jumping the gun. They were careful to always call this person a person of interest, not a suspect," Magaziner said. "And that does stand in contrast to the president and the FBI director, who, similar to in the hours that followed the Charlie Kirk assassination, seemed to be very eager to break news before they’re confident whether it’s true or not."

I’ve been watching all of this unfold since the heartbreaking shootings of Brown students during their final week of study and exams.

It was clear, in all the press briefings — matter how hard the press pushed — that the Providence and R.I. and local officials were trying to prevent distorted and inaccurate information from getting out prematurly. They initially focused safety for the students and community to — while also pursuing leads. The local police, firefighters and state police did just that through the night!

The Feds, were chasing down a lead that they overtly bragged about and apparently leaked. They leaked about a location and the name of a ‘person of interest’ And then all hell broke loose. This young man may have his life ruined over the gung-ho attitude of Patel’s Posse. They are totally useless. This administration has fired or drummed out all the experienced and seasoned leaders of the the FBI and ATF over ‘WTF loyalty’

And remember who is leading this terrorism agency:

The British expression, which I learned this weekend, is "all mouth and no trousers." Fits him perfectly.
