They forgot that we don't make epic heroes out of politicians or rich guys the way they do.

They also forgot that we want the concept of a nation of laws and not of men to prevail. That means a rich pimp is still a pimp and his clients who insist on underage girls are still rapists.

They also miss the fact that most of us are long out of patience on this stuff. We don't care whose middle aged men tried to boost their decreasing libidos by using the bodies of girls younger than their own daughters. We just want the exposed, at least to humiliation and censure if not to prosecution.

Many of the powerful people he associated with may have known nothing of his pedophilia. He made himself useful to them to create that network that made him seem untouchable.

There were two points where people should have avoided him in the future. The first was around 2008 when he pled guilty to having sex with a 17 year old - which ignored that it was many underage girls. The second was when the Miami Herald exposed the bigger story and led to his indictment, arrest and death.

Those were partially released some time ago I doubt either of them was completely in the dark about what went on at that island, although unless a survivor comes forward, we won't know if they went there for sex tourism with minors. Maybe Epstein was looking for investors (long shot but possible).

So far the only one convicted bu real evidence is Prince Andrew. Or Andrew Windsor, he's not a prince any longer. I imagine his big brother has effectively gelded him, his stipend likely not extending to sex tourism farther than Amsterdam, where they are all women and reportedly in business for themselves, no pimps needed or tolerated.

I did not know that and remembered that Clinton denied going to the Island and the flights he took were to Africa for the Foundation.

I would imagine a small island that is set up specifically for Epstein's purposes would hardly be something not obvious.

but you're correct, the flights might have been elsewhere and for a completely pious purpose. One way a guy like Epstein ingratiates himself with the other rich and powerful is by offering them the use of his jet.

I really doubted the Gates story since he was wealthy enough that if he wanted to screw a child, the mention of it would have brought one to his office within half an hour, no travel required. And if that wwas his kink, we'd never hear about it.

I hope that these comments by both women simply reflect the fact that they have never been progressives -- better known as status quo Democrats or euphemistically, "New York City Democrats". I hope these comments were not coerced by Trump for his part in trying to keep something in the Bill/Jeffrey relationship out of the public eye.

In other words, the Clintons supporting Netanyahu isn't a complete reversal of long-standing habits. The case of Bill Gates is much more toublesome. That looks like a clear quid pro quo -- a clear case of extortion by Trump.

And THIS is exactly why Trump and Epstein built that whole racket. It was not for the sex. The sex was just the bait. The extortion was always the point.

They are being released by the Democrats on the Oversight committee. The idea that they are showing any and all Dems while suppressing Republicans is insane. The only Democrats in politics in the released photos are Bill Clinton and Larry Summers (1 photo each). There are 3 pictures of Bannon and 3 of Trump (plus a picture of Trump condoms).

Many more pictures will be released, but they have to be very careful to make sure they don't divulge anything on any of the victims so it will take time to review them first.

Did it ever occur to you that most people do not read the articles in depth? It is governed by what they see in the headlines produced by the media. The overwhelming majority of Americans do this and therefore by placing Clinton on an equal headline footing with Trump, the old bothsiderism card can be played easily. Very few will go into depth lest they be deemed snobs or worse terms.

They need to be careful to protect the victims.

Epstein blackmailed people and he probably had to build up to getting people into a compromising position through multiple encounters. So he probably has a lot of pictures of a lot of his attempted and successful targets. Let the process play out. Let them answer for themselves. Let Trump also explain the multitude of pictures of him partying with Epstein, and the birthday card, and the condom pictures, and the connections after he was president, and the favorable treatment of Ghislane Mazwell. Trump has more than just pictures to answer for.
