Three buses exploded near Tel Aviv on Thursday in what Israeli police are calling a suspected coordinated terror attack, according to the country's Police Spokesperson's Unit.

The buses where the bombs exploded were empty and in separate parking lots about 500 meters apart from each other, the mayor of Bat Yam, where the incident occurred, said. Bat Yam is on Israel's southern coast and is just south of Tel Aviv.

There were no injuries from the explosions, police said.

to be set for 9 AM when the busses would be out and about carrying passengers. But somehow the timers went off way before (or the bombs went off by themselves?). A note was found saying this is in response to some raid ... that's what i got from a first listen/watch of the 3 minute video ... I'm sure I can a better job of this if I listened a time or two more. Anyway the key thing is nobody was hurt.

Something about bombs being found on 5 busses?? including the 3 that exploded (so far), and they are looking for more.

A Telegram channel claiming to represent Hamas’s so-called Tulkarem Battalion, based in the West Bank’s Tulkarem, puts out a statement that may signal the group’s responsibility for a combined bus bombing attack in Tel Aviv earlier tonight.

The statement reads: “The revenge of the martyrs will not be forgotten so long as the occupier is present on our land… This is a jihad of either victory or martyrdom.

He says the bombs appear to be makeshift.

I'm thinking the bombs might have gone off at either 9 pm or 12 am their time, based on the blog
