Democratic Sen. John Fetterman to meet with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

Source: AP news

WASHINGTON (AP) — Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman will become the chamber’s first Democrat to meet with President-elect Donald Trump since the election and plans to travel to Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

The trip marks Fetterman’s continuing evolution from a leading surrogate for President Joe Biden into a Trump-friendly lawmaker since Trump won the premier battleground state of Pennsylvania in November.

Fetterman since has shown surprising warmth to Trump, complimenting his political appeal, agreeing with him on some policies and embracing some of Trump’s would-be Cabinet nominees.

Fetterman said in a statement Thursday that Trump invited him to meet and that he accepted.

Things like stroke and anesthesia can do that.

That happened to a former boss of mine. She had
routine surgery, and came back a completely
different person.

challenges I always thought he was in way over his head as a US Senator. He just does not seem like a serious person to me. Diaper Don and John might get along just fine. I predict he will at a minimum change to an independent and caucus with the GQP but I won't be the least surprised if he goes full magat.

And everybody praised Joe for being so pragmatic and stuff.

“Some of these people are saying. ‘Biden just doesn’t get it,’” Biden said. “You can’t work with Republicans anymore. That’s not the way it works anymore.

I think Fetterman has been a reliable Democratic vote for Biden's Judges and Democratic bills?

From Fetterman recent words, I can understand the recent reactions and the concerns that he could be doing a Manchin. However, maybe he is trying to be Biden like, and trying to work across the isle.

If he was my senator, I would send him an email. Maybe mention that if he doesn't have his democratic constituents back in the next 4 years, then he will not have his constituent votes in his reelection. Make sure to mention that Trump will endorse a MAGA Republican to run against him next election.

Just for a change of pace, try doing the proper thing: Resign your position and allow Pennsylvanians to replace you with a for-real Democrat. Your pimping for trump makes you unworthy of holding public office.
