3. Whoever thought that building high rises on ground with a rising salt water table under it, was a good idea?

A lot of money invested there, a lot of building codes found to be inadequate, a lot of concrete foundations with rusting rebar and spalling concrete.

In a not too distant future, the coastal Florida regions will have no inhabitants, but tourists will visit to look at the crazy leaning high rises and be lectured by tour guides on the folly of Man.

The building was not of the same kind as the more modern ones and was older I think. But the same issues of corrosion and erosion apply, I think.
