When I enlisted in the military in the early 1970's, apparently there was a question on the form I filled out, about drug use. I must have answered 'No'.
A couple of weeks later, while in boot camp, the results came back from my urine sample. The results were not good. They were processing my discharge papers.
A lawyer on base helped me out. It turns out that when I took the drugs, it was BEFORE I was sworn in (my dad gave me an 'upper' that he got from a truck driving buddy so we could drink all night on the last night I was a civilian). So technically it was 'fraudulent enlistment' -- I lied on the enlistment form. But I had good recommendation from my Company Commander in boot camp (a decent old Navy Chief), and was able to stay in, finishing my four-year enlistment with an honorable discharge.
My point is, I 'broke the law' by knowingly checking the wrong box on a federal form, essentially lying about my drug use. Nobody threatened to throw me in prison -- I signed a paper saying I wouldnt do drugs again, and stayed in the military.
I guess a lot depends on who your dad is!

I’m always keenly interested in family traits. Probably because I’m adopted and don’t have much of a clue what mine might be. Seems like my son looks a little bit like me (only A LOT cuter), but you’d never guess our daughter was related to me.

Btw: I think Joe Biden’s legacy is gonna start growing on people. That orange creature will crumble by comparison. May take A LONG LONG time, but I bet the record, accomplishments, and general tone of America which he engendered will speak loud ‘n’ clear. It will be ABUNDANTLY demonstrated what a difference he made, in 4 years as President - as well as his 8 years of honorable service as Obama’s V. P.

I expect Joe Biden’s stature will rise in the history books, over time. ESPECIALLY in comparison to the weasel who came four years before him, and followed him for another (I hope ONLY) 4 years after that.

I keep hoping that sufficient numbers of American voters will wake up out of their trump stupor and realize across the board that we must NEVER EVER AGAIN fall for a “candidate” like this abominable, cold/hearted, power-hungry “Lyin’ King”!!!

We'll go through a dark time when tech powers team up with autocrats, but the conscience of millions and memories of both voters and non-voters will reawaken to when life didn't feel oppressive, and whether it's too late, we can't say yet, but by then Joe Biden will be honored as one of our best leaders.

This whole thing was political and nothing more. Biden said enough of this shit. I support him in his decision. It was the right move.

HB wrongly stated he had no prior on drugs and purchased a gun. The purchase was not legal but the are no uses of the gun that were illegal. HB was found guilty on gun charges.

Kyle Rittenhouse was underage and talked a friend into buying him a gun. KR then talked his mother into taking him across State lines with his gun and ammo to protect cars during a BLM protest. When some of the protesters broke off and went past KR’s location he fired into the group when he felt threatened. 1 person was killed and 2 were injured by KR. KR eventually walked, a free man. Unequal justice, that’s for sure.

also get exonerated. He had an opportunity for a plea bargain but there was a difference of opinion between his attorney and the justice department as to the meaning of one of the terms.
