Former Trump aide shares ominous warning to women entering his White House: 'I'm not going to lie'

Source: The Independent

Former Trump White House official Olivia Troye has issued a stark warning for women entering the incoming administration. “TheTrump White House’s chauvinistic male-dominated culture will be exacerbated by the presence of Elon Musk, JD Vance, Donald Trump Jr., Matt Gaetz, Pete Hegseth, and other ‘bros’ in positions of authority or influence,” Troye, who served as former Vice President Mike Pence’s national security adviser, wrote on her Substack on Thursday.

“It will be an intimidating environment, but stay true to your values, even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular. Remember, you have only yourself to face in the mirror every day.”

Since leaving the administration, Troye has become an outspoken critic of Trump and campaigned on behalf of his Democratic rival Kamala Harris in 2024.

In her post, Troye also urged women to seek out female allies and warned that they would face the “male gaze” and “locker room talk” in the administration. The latter phrase is a reference to Donald Trump’s defense after the Access Hollywood tape, in which he said a recording of him bragging about groping women was exaggerated macho banter.

They should change the name from The White House to Perverts-R-Us.

It can go back to The White House when decent people are there.

She originally worked for Ivanka. Her father co-opted her and moved her office right next to his.

He kept her around for his male ego. She got plenty of undue and unwanted male attention. Even got caught up with Rob Porter, who had a history of spousal abuse. Her parents tried an intervention to get out of this toxic environment. She did separate for a period, but Trump got Ivanka to entice her back to the WH for a little while.

She eventually testified against Trump. Likely in the hopes (no pun intended) that she had permanently broken the ties of the past.

IMO, she was brainless woman but canny enough to ride the wave of vicarious power for while it lasted. You know, an opportunist. And she barely paid the price to assisting a corrupt administration.

leave all trad/bro environs, where creators and occupants refuse be tempered or informed by females; where tradbros expect inferior females to serve as foils at best, meat puppets at worst.

The White House will be a toxic masculinity, superfund site. It needs to be mocked in every possible way we come up with.

Anyone with any values worth staying true to would never be part of this cabal to begin with.

If they try that in DC, they'll end up face down, on the ground.

As it is, they won't be able to eat anywhere in the District that's worthwhile.
