Dozens killed after car ploughs into crowd in China

Source: BBC

At least 35 people were killed and 43 more injured after a car ploughed into a crowd of people exercising at a stadium in Zhuhai, China on Monday, according to authorities.

A 62-year-old male driver, surnamed Fan, is alleged to have driven an SUV through a barrier and into Zhuhai Sports Centre in what local police described as a "serious and vicious attack". Chinese media reported that many elderly people, as well as teenagers and children, were among the injured.

Fan was arrested while trying to flee, police said, and is currently in a coma as a result of self-inflicted wounds.
...
Police have said initial investigations suggest the ramming attack was triggered by Fan’s dissatisfaction with the outcome of a property settlement following his divorce.

This is a new phenomenon in China known as "Revenge Against Society." As people lose everything due to the economic crash happening there and the government under Winne the Flu doing nothing about it (because they don't care since the CCP has insulated itself against economic downturns), people have turned their anger outward to attack society.

Since children are highly valued in China not just as children by as a support means for their parents as the parents age (since there is no social security, medicare, or other services for the elderly in the worker's utopia of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics), desperate people are turn outward to attack society in a means that will hurt everyone involved. This is the reason there are mass stabbings at schools, why those who carry out these attacks will normally target the young (under 25 years old), and will meltdown in public frequently.

Add to this the fact that mental health services are, at best, limited (a good way of saying almost not there), and there is no outlet for this rage when people lose everything because the bank went belly up, their home they put theirs and their family's money into buying will never get built because the builder over-leveraged everything to the point of insolvency, or they are told by their employer "sorry, we're not paying you this month due to (make up the reason)."

Under 30 year old unemployment is so high the CCP stopped reporting it. It is now illegal in China to videotape and record poverty and homelessness. Being homelessness is now a crime punishable by at least eight years in prison and the Ayn Randian idea of "The Virtue of Selfishness" has become the mantra of the Winnie the Flu regime. These attacks are becoming more and more normal as people get more and more desperate, so they seek "Revenge on Society."

It's worse for foreigners because the CCP blames all the problems in China on "foreign bandits," and has especially targeted the African communities as they are genuinely hated overall because of the ingrained bigotry the CCP has instilled in people there. That hatred starts in primary school when they put seven and eight year olds into summer "military" training and get them to chant hatred slogans against the US, Britain, Canada, Japan, and Israel.

I saw two of these attack (well, not saw face to face but was within three miles of them) in cities in China I lived or went to before I left. China has become a very dangerous place for the Chinese and foreigner alike. AVOID going at all unless you have to.

does that mean that workers own the major industries in China?
cuz I thought "Socialism is an economic system in which major industries are owned by workers rather than by private businesses. It is different from capitalism, where private actors, like business owners and shareholders, can own the means of production." (emphasis added)
