DeKalb County, GA — DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections received bomb threats at seven locations, including five voting precincts and two other locations, around 5 p.m.

As of 7 p.m., DeKalb Police had searched and found no bombs at four of the voting precincts that received bomb threats Tuesday evening, according to a press release.

DeKalb County Police are performing bomb sweeps at New Bethel AME Church, New Life Community Center, North DeKalb Senior Center, Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library, Wesley Chapel Library, the Old Sam’s Club in Stonecrest and the Salem Panola Library.

“Every asset that we have will be deployed to ensure that every citizen who wants to vote will be given that opportunity and every vote cast will be counted,” DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond said a press release.
