The $1,000 baby accounts sound sweet until you notice the fine print: the program only covers babies born 2025-2028, expiring right before a presidential election. Meanwhile the tax cuts benefiting the wealthy never sunset at all. Same pattern as the tip and overtime tax breaks. Middle class gets temporary goodies, elites get permanence.
