Every morning when I hear the latest pathological lie, child-like tantrum, or pathetic need to be adored:

I have the exact same reaction: WOULD YOU JUST FUCKING DIE ALREADY?

Is anyone else there?

the birther nonsense

Before my mom passed in March 2012, I would ask her why TFG was getting so much press about this bullshit, she said I shouldn’t worry so much because he wasn’t going to be a problem … I disagreed with her then and I haven’t changed since.

He’s a lying cheating load of crap. Bloviating con man. Stiffs his contractors. Cheats at/on everything and everyone. We can’t believe the morans in the rest of this country fell for his grifting come-on. And now we’re all stuck in the clown car barreling down the mountain at 200 per.

restoring our democracy, because our leaders on both sides are either inept or unwilling to stop his reign of mayhem. Of course, then we'll get JD, so there is that...

I am so sick and tired of facing each and every day with doom, gloom and foreboding.

At least on one side. The attribution to fault ‘both sides’ ignores the reality of our political governance. It is not both sides but one sided governance by the republicans. Period. Full stop.

"Celebration" and "Dancing In The Streets" come to mind as possible for that happy event. Irvin Berlin's "When That Man Is Dead And Gone" is already seen as the possible anthem for that happy event.

When Trump had Covid-19 in 2020, he posted something stupid on Twitter (I don't remember what), & someone replied, "Oh, shut up and go toward the light." That's still one of the funniest things I've ever read online.

U. S. Constitution that he supposedly took in January 2025. In a close second place is a Congress of Repugs who are letting him do it. Every one of them should be booted out at the first opportunity.

I've never felt that way about another person before. Seriously. I don't like the fact that I feel that way. Not sure what it says about me; however, as I've posted before, I go back to Star Trek.

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one". (paraphrasing as I'm too lazy to google the exact quote).

There is so much death, destruction and suffering as long as he lives.

For all the death and destruction it caused, couldn't it have compensated us with just one special case?

Sadly it didn't, and here we are. But I'd be satisfied with alien abduction, any of the fates of Spinal Tap drummers, even sudden retirement to a country without an extradition treaty. Just make him go the fuck away, I don't care how.

He said this after the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The rally, organized by white supremacists and neo-Nazis to protest the removal of a Confederate statue (I believe it was Robert E Lee) from a city park.
