Cuba Offers To Give Up Nuclear Weapons It's Not Developing in Return for US$300B

https://theshovel.com.au/2026/06/19/cuba-offers-to-give-up-nuclear-weapons-its-not-developing-in-return-for-us300b/

Intimidated by what they have seen unfold in Iran, Cuban officials have reluctantly agreed to start negotiations with Donald Trump, saying they too are prepared to scrap plans for nuclear weapons that they were not building anyway, in return for a US$300 billion development fund.

Under the proposed agreement, Cuba would formally commit to maintaining its current policy of not possessing nuclear weapons and not testing nuclear weapons, saving the US millions of dollars in weapons inspection programs, which don’t currently exist.

“We were left with no option but to come to the negotiating table and accept billions of dollars,” a Cuban spokesperson said.

Donald Trump hailed the deal as a huge win for America. “In addition to not producing nuclear weapons, Cuba has also agreed to open the Straight of Florida. Yes, it is already open. But under this deal, they have agreed to keep it open … for the next 60 days, and then they will start charging us to access it. So that’s a very, very big win for us’.

1. They've also demanded the immediate annexation of Miami-Dade County.

There are more Cuban flags on the streets of South Florida than U.S. flags, the people already speak the language, they're more concerned with Cuba's internal politics than what goes on in Tallahassee and DC, and the vast majority have relatives living on the island. Might as well make it official: declare Miami the new capital of Cuba.

I am not developing nuclear weapons either. I am not asking for 300billions, one million will do.

This new bomb is based on quodium, which is 100 times more powerful than hydrogen.

In fact, it uses an H-bomb just to trigger this one off.

Fortunately, H-bombs are available on EBay, a fact lost on our "Nuclear Negotiators"

It's quite hilarious and satirical, in case you young'uns have a chance to see it. It was made long before the terrible stench of today's current political climate.

...the humanitarian crisis the orange pedophile is creating in Cuba is not funny.

It's not getting much attention but it's very real.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing they lost interest and are long gone.

It's my understanding that prior to 1960, Cuba was a popular tourist destination. I'd like to get back to that.

17. Cuba poses no threat, but Castro nationalized billions of dollars in American corporate and private assets in 1960.

These property owners have been demanding their confiscated assets be returned to them for more than sixty years, but Cuba has steadfastly refused. In response, the U.S. government has been punishing Cuba since then, enforcing a series of cruel embargos intended to hurt the people of Cuba, openly trying to foment a popular uprising and the collapse of the communist Cuban regime.

Trump's (and his corporate backers') plan is for all these confiscated properties to be returned to their original owners after the current Cuban government is gone. Trump and his henchmen believe this will be easy, that the Cuban population will welcome Americans with open arms as he forces them out of their homes. It will be an incredible mess, and it will be violent.
