Great interview on AI - MJ Fast and Ed Zitron

I am 98% with Ed Zitron on this. The technology for LLM's is pretty simple, just a predictive model on top of a ton of processing power. I think AI as represented by LLMs is effectively a hype machine to drive enough investment that somewhere a real business will emerge. LLM's do not do what OpenAI or Anthropic claim they do, and there is not a clear path to profitability for either company, and certainly not for the underlying data centers, which is why so many of the companies that were planning to build the data centers have tapped the brakes.
