The desperate negotiations with Iran indicate major concerns about the November elections.

The Republicans would be willing to give them Texas if it would make the economy better and keep them in power in November. As it is, they are more afraid of the price of gasoline than they are of any enemy.

Israel has made a lot of progress in southern Lebanon and it is a much more opportune time to try and negotiate some sort of settlement that will give the Republicans stronger ground to stand on for the next election. But, it doesn't matter how the war or negotiations are going, they are going to lie about it.

In my opinion, the Republican regime is very worried.

By November, they could be talking about a "golden age" again.

Their bellies may be growling but they can be convinced they are not hungry.
