Donald Trump branded 'white trash president' by Fox News fans over new White House look

President Donald Trump faced backlash from his conservative fanbase over the White House's new look.

On June 11, Fox News shared an online clip of the UFC Freedom 25 event, set to take place in three days, which coincides with President Trump's 80th birthday. The footage was taken on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C. The camera zoomed in and panned beneath the star-spangled "claw" steel structure that will cover the Octagon.

The centerpiece appeared to be towering over the White House in a wide shot. It comes after a pilot claims he was nearly blinded by the UFC White House lighting and filed a safety report.

The caption stated, "The White House lawn has been transformed for fight night. A UFC Octagon now sits just steps from the White House, surrounded by plenty of seats for an audience.

"The setup is for the upcoming "Freedom 250" event on June 14, weeks before America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary."

Conservatives took to social media to slam the UFC event, arguing that the president was being tasteless about it.

One person said, "Tacky as hell. Trump is a white trash president."

It's a broad smear insult against the same core base that he's losing and or lost from all his broken campaign promises.

Yes, I thought the whole thing was tasteless as all-get-out. But I didn't expect any of his usual fans to agree with me.

"Might makes right."

(This was one of my 2 objections to the film, Black Panther, in which a supposedly utopic black nation's leadership was decided by physical combat; and in which the CIA was portrayed as the altruistically-motivated best buddy to black people.)
