Fonda: This isn't the first time that Americans' rights have come under attack. But this time, what is really different

from the last century is that the attacks are coming from every part of the government: the executive, the legislative, and the Supreme Court.

In a functioning democracy we are told the government fears the people who insist on accountability. Truth is they don’t fear us and thus are not accountable. Jane and all those courageous voices speaking out know the price one pays when they do.

with this line of argument is that the SC cannot rule on everything. They can only take a certain number of cases.

The court system has kept trump at bay. Let's give them credit .

have to take on all cases, but have opinions ruled for about 70-80 of the 7-8000 presented to them. There are number of procedures they apply to implement the screening of cases.

Under the stacking, corrupt process of Senate confirmations, CU, American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC)., Federalist Society, et . the lower courts are significantly weakened. Their rulings against Thump’s lawlessness are little comfort when you consider egregious, recent USSC decisions.

POV you have there.

The SC is a rw freak show that needs to be straightened out. Its impact on decisions of the massive court system is a connection you want to make for what appears to be some emotional reason. Enjoy your time in the emotional dump.

Guess I’m too high on truthiness. Valve down the steam partner. No one’s defending the deplorable USSC. On the contrary. Didn’t mean to tangle you up with facts.
