i love the idea of obama -- one of the pics i thought of that would be great was one of those beach pictures like this one

It was taken at Sandy Beach on O’ahu, a notorious body surfing beach where tourists are rescued daily. The City and County blanketed the beach with experienced lifeguards to make sure he was safe. One of them who was there said that all they needed to see was how he walked down to the water to know he knew what he was doing. They immediately reassigned lifeguards to shadow the Secret Service guys who they could tell were not shore-break safe. He caught a bunch of waves that showed he spent a lot of time at Sandy’s when he should have been at Punahou School.

To hide the damage the Trump related and now removed letters have done to the marble face.

Seeing them would be symbolic of the general damage Trump has created far and wide.

How do you patch holes in marble anyway, to get back to the original appearance?

They fill them with a color-matched stone repair material (often an epoxy mixed with marble dust from matching stone). The patches will be invisible, especially from that distance. Of course that’s assuming that the only damage is small holes from where they drilled to put in the letters.
