50 years ago in Virginia, my friends and I would watch "professional wrestling" after SNL. Costumes and made-up names like Count Von Ratsky. We'd turn down the sound and make our own noises when someone got slammed to the mat. And we'd be convulsed with laughter. (OK, the beer helped . . . . ) It was fake and comical simultaneously.
Trump loves fake. "Professional wrestling" is the epitome of fake.
My guess is that Trump finds PW entertaining for the reasons I cited above. But the other "fun" is laughing at the idiots who believe it's for real.
