Lawrence made the point multiple times that Bessent is going to attack Dems in Bessent’s scheduled appearance in Congress next week, while all those Dems recently voted to “respect” same-sex marriage. Bessent is gay and married to a man. And Bessent will show maximum respect to all the Republicans who recently voted to NOT respect same-sex marriages. Inside out, upside down. Maybe Bessent doesn’t respect his own same-sex marriage.

And Bessent’s absurd statement that Trump’s admin is the ONLY admin to get Iran to negotiate Iran’s enriched uranium is just such a stupid thing to say.

If Bessent is unaware of the 2015 JPCOA under Obama, he’s a fucking idiot and strictly a partisan tool.

This is another case where pushback is required, but missing. Having a MSNOW contributor refute Bessent is just not the same as Obama doing it.

just a stupid thing to say, it was an easily provable lie (Bessent absolutely knows it was a lie). As Lawrence O'Donnell pointed out last night, if he would make that statement before Congress, it would be a crime (lying to Congress is a crime)
