Morning, and I'd like to run an idea by y'all...i think the incomming Dem Congress should ask the American People what

they want done.
I think the new Congress should send out a national issues survey. If you filled out a census, or if you have a soc sec number, you should be able to log into a Congressional website, and fill out a survey of what you want passed, and the Dem Congress should campaign on committing itself to passing into law the top 5 things on the list. Congress works for US, not a bunch of think tanks.

It's the only way a dem majority will KEEP a lot of the voters we catch this cycle, and it WILL demonstrate that we're here to serve THEM (unlike the Republicans who will bitch and cry and DEMAND their jobs back in 2 years).

WOULDN'T or cannot fit inside our Party Platform right now? I can't think of one off the top of my head..

1. Have only 51 Senators. They campaign nation wide. Whole nation votes. Top 17 win every two years.
2. Senate can oust justices who have
a) accepted bribes under emolument clause.
b) lied under oath
c) met secretly to discuss upcoming cases
d) eliminate electoral college with 2/3 vote
