On Memorial Day, I honor all men and women of any or no political party who have given their lives so that we may enjoy freedom. We owe you a great deal and can never repay you or your loved ones.
Instead, this Memorial Day trump posted trash on his lies social site, claiming to acknowledge the holiday, but calling half the country "dumocrats".
I wonder how families of fallen soldiers who are Democrats (and there are many) feel on this day as they read the Commander in Chief's message. Knowing that your loved one gave their life and is now being called names in an official WH message must be extraordinarily painful.
I would like to say again that I honor all of the fallen today. We can never repay you. Your political party is irrelevant. Whether I agreed with war in which you served is equally so.
RIP, and thank you.

(800 posts)All the working men and women who lost their lives at work. Many due to lax safety training and or lack of proper PPE due to management trying to save a buck. That's not to say the brave folks in the military don't deserve the spotlight but we working class stiffs have lost brothers and sisters also. Most all of these occurring to make the ruling class richer.
