Thomas Massie lost his Kentucky House race by 10,280 votes....

His opponent received 10,854 mail-in votes.

Why is that relevant?

Because Donald Trump plans on using "mail-in" votes as part of his strategy to say the next election is rigged.

But, his candidate would not have won without "mail-in" voting. Massie would have been the victor.

Did Trump say anything about the mail-in voting in Kentucky?

Just a little factoid to store away.

Individuals would have voted in person if mail in voting were not an option.

Your point is taken however.

Because it's the delta between them that would be most relevant, not the raw number.

So Gallrein's margin in mail-in votes was just 2,433. Removing all the Mail-in votes still yields a victory for Gallrein, but only by 7,850 votes. The statement that Trump's candidate would not have won without mail-in votes is 100% wrong. He still would have won, just by a smaller margin of votes.
