The network of Murrow, Sevareid, and Cronkite is dead.

FUCK THEM.

We are not watching another program on SEE BS. And that includes Sunday Morning and local stations.

I cannot emphasize this enough: FUCK THEM!

That's when I quit broadcast television entirely.

I have occasionally watched embedded YouTube clips of Colbert here on DU. He's probably my extended family's sort of Catholic.

My mom used to work for CBS in its glory days. She was working when she met my dad.

Starting tonight, the 11:35 p.m. slot tonight I will be tuned to Kimmel, and forever more on weeknights, and I have no reason to watch anything else on CBS or Paramount. I always found Comics Unleashed to be totally boring and unfunny, and even that was before I found out Byron Allen was another billionaire and likely Trump boot-licker.

And, although I've never seen his show, I hear some people swear by Seth Meyers.
