Tulsi Gabbard resigns as DNI -- citing husband's cancer diagnosis

Tulsi Gabbard is out as Director of National Intelligence — and while her resignation letter cites her husband's battle with a rare bone cancer, it comes after months of rumors that Trump wanted her gone.

Gabbard notified Trump in an Oval Office meeting on Friday. Her last day is June 30.

"My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer," she wrote in her resignation letter, obtained by Fox News. "I cannot in good conscience ask him to face this fight alone while I continue in this demanding and time-consuming position."

Behind the scenes, the picture was messier. Reports emerged in April that the White House had urged Gabbard to step down before the midterms. Friction mounted over her differing views on the Iran war and the resignation of her counterterrorism chief, Joe Kent. Pro-Israel Trump allies had also targeted her over hires they considered hostile to Israel.

It’s the old political, “I’m leaving to devote more time to my family” schtick.

She was rumored to be on the outs anyways and I don’t think she was included in much of the planning for Iran or Venezuela. What a sad and pathetic woman.

But deserving of every slight that she gets or got from the orange asshole because she licked his boots when it got down to the nitty gritty. Sold out and in my opinion, is most likely a traitor.

She’s a miserable failure. She’s done little well other than use her “exotic” looks to score endorsements from Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump.

Her tenure was ultimately little more than a fart in a bathtub.

I get that they are moving into the "He man woman hater's club" portion of the show, but she was really terrible, a hard act to follow.

Of course, they seem to have tapped into a mother lode of moronic assholes, so they'll find someone. White, male, and willing to lick Trump's tiny boots 24/7.

He was duking it out with CNN, and when pressed for examples of how and why a MAGAt would get this money, basically said no one suffered more than Comrade Flynn.
