"If Trump were a Democrat would you still hate him." Yes, he's an awful, shitty human being.

Just to clarify. I loathed him, before I even knew what party he might have affiliated with.
He was, to me, way back in the 80s, the epitome of what used to be called 'The Ugly American'.
I loathe him even more now.
I just want him gone.

Fuck trump

From the first time I saw him, heard his voice....that tone of voice he uses was the same one my abusive father used. He still makes my skin crawl when he speaks and he's devoid of anything that could reasonably be called humanity.

He's greed and malice personified.

The thing I don't get is that he ticks literally every box of the right wing religious people's "antichrist"...including the part where they all worship him with his mark on their foreheads, and yet, they still worship him.

The defining characteristic of the MAGA cult is the more boxes he checks, the more love he gets for owning the libs.

The biggest con is convincing people that looking, talking, and acting like a con artist doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a con artist. Why would a con artist operate out in the open?

A lot of Republicans view politics as a game where you support your team no matter what. You scream at the ref when they make a call against your team, whether it's valid or not. You accuse the other team of cheating when you lose.

They assume we hate Trump just because he's a Republican because they hate all Democrats just because they're Democrats.

They think differently than we do.

was in the 80s when he, as a USFL team owner, sued the NFL for some reason or another. As I recall he pretty much sank that league all on his own and thought he was owed an NFL franchise when it went under. He then sued the NFL and actually won his suit. But he was such a prick during the whole thing he ended up being awarded something like 2-3 bucks in damages.

but that chance depended on me saving Donald Trump from burning to death while I roasted marshmallows on the flames... I guess all I could say is "well, we had a good run, too bad its over."

I would not piss on him if he were burning ion front of me and I would physically assault and prevent others from extinguishing him.

One of the thousands of things wrong with Trump is this - he believes that he is on the same level as a Bath Ruth, Michael Jordan or Wayne Gretzky (the best ever at what they did), when in reality he is a stumblebum clown, who AT BEST might be considered on the level of a Marty McSorley character (for the non-hockey fans, McSorley was the designated goon for Gretzky, who would start fights or beat people up but had as much skill as your average Zamboni).

I can't adequately find the words to truly describe these last 12 years. History is going to look back at this error and shake its collective head but we are stuck living in it. It hurts. Its physically painful and stressful to see the progress of justice and equality being beaten into a bloody pulp and have leaders about as effective as the proverbial submarine screen doors getting rolled daily, but it is what it is now. There will be a lot of work to address when he finally dies (hopefully he is stroking out as I type), but having to live through this has been exhausting, deflating and humiliating as a person who once did love this country and still loves the ideals it once held forth.

I've loathed chump since the mid-1960's, having been born and raised in Greenwich, CT, just 45 mins from downtown Manhattan by train. He was a scheming shyster thug then, and that continues to this day. Anyone in the tri-states (NY, NJ, and CT) were well aware of his "dealings" as he sat at the right hand of his sleazy father. They both should have been locked away then without chance of parole.

I will forever blame Mark Burnett {"Survivor", "Apprentice"} for bringing this slug to the forefront and (falsely) making him known across the country as a supposed legitimate business tycoon. Burnett knew differently, but there was a buck to be made for him in the process also, and so we have this moronic mobster wannabe destroying everything our country is meant to be. There's good reason why trump - the geographic "favorite son" - pulled a mere 11% of NYC votes the first time around. New Yorkers knew the trumps, and New Yorkers hated them.

Your eloquence speaks for many.

Is the difference between them and us. He'd NEVER be the standard bearer for our party. We wouldn't tolerate the racism, sexism, and flat out stupidity and corruption. And if for some reason we lost our collective minds and the powers that be DID nominate such a disgusting excuse for a human being to be the leader of our country, I guarantee there would be such an exodus from the Democratic Party it would cease to exist.

The "man" has only been able to get this far because the Republican power structure saw him a a path to what their goal has been since Nixon. KKKarl Rove said it out loud during Bush II...a permanent Republican majority. These people hate democracy, and any policy that does not benefit the obscenely wealthy. They've been fighting us from Reconstruction, through the Union movement, Social Security, Medicare, Aid to Dependent Children...you guys know the list.

These people have to be driven out, and back into their caves. Only this time we need to dynamite the opening shut so they can't get out again. Either that, or give them a state they can all move to, and we could build a wall around that. They can call it Trumpistan, and revel in their ignorance. The best part is that within 3 generations, they'll be at each others throats, because no one will ever be pure enough.
