I did the most corniest thing, but not for mine and her generation, I invited her to a nice restaurant and halfway through dinner, I got down on one knee and proposed to her and she said....YES!!!
A new chapter in my life is starting and I'm giddy with happiness.
Excuse me, I've had a couple of shots of Vodka to celebrate my coming 2nd marriage.

Just in case get those dress blues altered.
My favorite pics of my son are from when he was in the corps.
Thanks for chatting with me. It broke up my evening caring for my son.

There is a lot of beauty in this world. There is a lot worth fighting for.
Had I some vodka, I'd do one with you. Just accept this one in spirit. Spirit spirits.
Congratulations.
May you have many years of happiness, and may each year be better than the last.
I'm so happy for you.

(29,610 posts)Im somewhat envious of the lightning speed of your love story. My husband and I were a couple for 4 years before he was ready to take a second chance on marriage. Understandable, as it was a nasty divorce, but it was a long wait. First time around for me.
All the best to both of you!

(29,610 posts)I remember my mother, born in 1922, telling me that if young ladies didnt have stockings with seams they would use eyebrow pencils to draw faux seams on their legs.
Getting those lines straight must have been tricky, or maybe they helped each other out.
