6 days after Trump made 13 celebratory posts in a hour claiming that Iran surrendered to all his demands and the war is over, he’s back threatening to blow up power plants and bridges.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Iran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz — A Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it? My Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan — They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations. Iran recently announced that they were closing the Strait, which is strange, because our BLOCKADE has already closed it. They’re helping us without knowing, and they are the ones that lose with the closed passage, $500 Million Dollars a day! The United States loses nothing. In fact, many Ships are headed, right now, to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, to load up, compliments of the IRGC, always wanting to be “the tough guy!” We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years. IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END! President DONALD J. TRUMP

... the orcs and goblins of ICE are just getting warmed up. They've already dropped the transparent pretense of rounding up thieves and rapists; now they've started arresting journalists, bystanders, and people on their way to work that inadvertently get behind one of their vehicles. They observe no laws and violently reject any restriction on their tactics. Soon, jaywalking will be a capital offense punishable by summary execution. They have every intention of ignoring laws against armed intimidation of voters at the polls.
As long as the Orange Menace is still shitting all over the Oval Office, and his corrupt minions defile the DoJ, ICE's crimes will continue to escalate. It's gonna get worse before it gets better. If it EVER gets better.

Stable international agreements, take diplomacy and time. It’s tedious and technical. Trump thinks a deal is when he can cheat and bully people. He’s never been a good businessman and he certainly not a good diplomat. Anybody can blow stuff up.

Nobody in their right mind trusts Trump. He has NEVER been trustworthy. And he is an infant, he wants what he wants and he wants it NOW. But what he wants can change so fast that nobody can keep up with trying to please him; something his cabinet, aids, and GOP pols on the Hill just haven't learned.

He is insane and there is no dealing with him. Iranian leadership knows this. GOP pols on the Hill need to accept and address the fact and remove him from office, perhaps put him on trial or have him committed.

There's money to be made as the stock market moves up and down according to Trump's social media.posts on the war.

There are political opportunities to use during a war, e.g. threats to strip more civil liberties in the name of national security.

In the beginning, I think that he expected a quick win via threats and bombs. Always an opportunist, when he did not get a quick victory in Iran, he switched to making money from the war and threatening opponents of it.

"But Harris supported Israel." "Harris took AIPAC money." "The dems are pro-Israel." Well, the dems may take AIPAC campaign money, but they never took orders from Netanyahu.

We desperately need to get big money out of our electoral process. We need publicly funded elections & scaled back campaign seasons. People are sick of the constant campaigning. How do reps, who have two year terms, get any work done, when their main focus is raising money to campaign for their next election?

Also, they must pass a civics test before they are able to run for federal office. They have to hit the ground running and most Republicans have no clue how our government works.
