Loss of muscular control, got a load on, shingles, discomfort.

How about edema, ascites? Excess abdominal fluid can move down the leg. Associated with cancer, heart failure.

Amazing they're not trying to cover it up.

Also various types of dementia and neurological degeneration have gait and posture disturbances. As to what exactly is going on with him, it is a bit reading tea leaves since we just get bits and pieces of video and still pics in limited and curated situations. But he is certainly not healthy/normal.

Heads up his ass. A few got stuck and remain in there before he left the plane. Wanna bet on which few are still up there? I Have not seen Graham in a few days.

always has been but seriously - as an RN working with this population full time for the last decade or so - he is CLEARLY guarding his balance here. There are so many things that could be causing or contributing to this it’s almost impossible to say why but a short list would have to consider

Medications
Inner ear disorders
Sinus/ENT infections
Heart Disease
Circulatory Disorders
Syndromes that include POTS
Stroke/TBI effects
Proprioception/Nerve disorders
Electrolyte/Metabolic imbalances
Cognitive changes
Anxiety disorders

In that photo, his left pant leg has more wrinkles, so I speculate the right leg has a support attached, hence the smoother appearance of the fabric.
Just my 2-cents.

a kind of shuffle-walk-rest pattern when traversing distances without something to cling to like a rail or a person or a podium.

Also: They keep letting us know he’s going to one of his golf properties, yet we NEVER see a photo of him swinging a club anymore. Just some pictures of an old man driving a golf cart.

Also: LOOK at the edema in that right hand compared to the left, again.

Other Republicans have been afflicted by this in the past (MSP).
Side note: That's unusual microphone placement.

Around 2015, some body language "expert" coached them that spreading their legs to ridiculous extents was a "power stance". And some of them avidly took it to extremes.

George Osborn

David Cameron

Theresa May

Sajid Javid

Boris Johnson

Some have traced the advice to a 2013 TED Talk by body language expert Amy Cuddy:

She based her findings on research that found that adopting a spread-legged stance could boost testosterone levels. Unfortunately, whichever guru taught the Tories forgot the part of her advice that recommended doing it in private before an important speech or whatever, not in public, where it just looks vaguely demented.

If the Tories had been better fans of Blackadder, they might have picked up on that nuance, which the show amply described:

I've no idea whether this has anything to do with why Trump was standing like that, but it does remind me of my younger childhood, when one of my playmates might occasionally have had an unfortunate accident and been forced to plod spread-legged home for a severe scolding, a clean-up and a change of clothes.
