By successfully resisting Russian control of Ukraine, he’s saving hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian lives which would be lost if Russia had control and would engage in violent reprisals as Russia does with conquered countries.

Of course, they’re fighting back but Ukraine has not invaded any neighbors doing so. This is a worthy nomination and I hope he receives one. 🇺🇦
