The Islamic Republic of Iran says it is “positively reviewing” Pakistan’s proposal and the White House says it is reviewing the proposal as well.

The only question is what Iran will get out of all this.

Israel gets Lebanon up to the Litani River, which we'll soon learn was always the territory of historical Israel, etc., more nonsense. Trump will get his chest-thumping jingoism.

What will the Revolutionary Guard get?

The Strait is all the only pressure point they have on Trump.

What’s to negotiate after you hand in your hammer? I would be surprised if they took this deal.

Gas prices in the US are where they are because of the Strait. Does this really need to be said?

Such will also soon be felt in the price of many other goods.

IOWs both the US and Trump need it.

How fucking stupid was this administration to think Iran wouldn’t use the straits as leverage after they were attacked?

Holy shit.

The administration is responsible for everything that has happened with regards to rising gas prices. You can complain all you want about Iran. Everything was so predictable and it’s all on Trump.

Your “war gaming” abilities are not impressive.

If they have a fee structure as a part of this deal then it makes sense. They’re probably also going to want to discriminate (ie ban or impose higher fees), against any shipments going to the US or Israel as part of any agreement. I just don’t see a clean opening of Hormuz happening.
