On Friday, April 10th, when Artemis II is scheduled to complete it's mission to the moon, the astronauts aboard that spacecraft will get a glimpse of the Earth at war. As the orb below them continues to spin, the Middle East will come into view. What image will these four space travelers receive and how much will their home planet have changed during the brief time they were away? Man, from the time he first acquired consciousness, has been a creature of both curiosity and savagery, the footprints we leave on other worlds always trampling and erasing those from past conquests. And this, for lack of better comprehension, limited by our small window on the universe, we call progress.
