In today's edition of The Public Pulse, readers react to a Washington, D.C.-based conservative group putting out an advertisement that ties congressional candidate John Cavanaugh to President Donald Trump.

Harding should disavow PAC ad

Brinker Harding and his campaign manager, Matt Zacher, say they had no involvement in the current lying campaign from the PAC known as American Action Network, which claims that John Cavanaugh and Donald Trump share the same agenda.

Instead of claiming ignorance, the Harding campaign should very publicly disown the filthy, dirty politics of the PAC.

Thanks for exposing source of deceptive ad

I would like to commend the World-Herald for calling Nebraskans’ attention to the American Action Network’s sponsorship of the deceptive ad regarding Sen. John Cavanaugh.

I’m glad to know that the glossy packet of lies delivered to my mailbox came from out of state.
