GA-14: Northwest Georgia voters head to polls Tuesday in high-stakes congressional runoff

RINGGOLD, Ga. — Voters across northwest Georgia will head to the polls Tuesday to decide who will represent them in Congress.

The special runoff election in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District comes after no candidate secured a majority in last month’s crowded special election.

Now, the race is down to two candidates.

Democrat Shawn Harris, a retired Army brigadier general, and Republican Clay Fuller, a district attorney, are competing to fill the remainder of the term left open after Marjorie Taylor Greene resigned earlier this year.
