"What about what happened in 2020?" A weird LTTE

https://cdapress.com/news/2026/apr/03/no-kings-what-about-what-happened-in-2020/

We got a...strange anti-No Kings LTTE and ran it Friday. Here's the first paragraph:

Do the No Kings protesters even acknowledge what happened in 2020? During Covid, thousands of first responders, doctors, nurses, soldiers, federal employees and factory workers lost their jobs and livelihoods for exercising their freedom of choice by not complying to political mandates and untested vaccines. Businesses were being forcibly shut down — some forever — based on a “king-like” decree. Where was your “No Kings” protest then? Do you ever look in the mirror?

DONALD TRUMP was president in 2020.

4. Shifting to the proper year 2021, most of the directives never took effect, either blocked by lower courts or SCOTUS

The only one that 'stood' was the one that required medical providers who take money from Medicare/Medicaid to vaccinate their workers. There was also a Pentagon directive for vaccination that was in place for awhile.

Federal Employees and Federal Contractors outside of the above classes did not end up being required, nor was OSHA's requirement for large employers ever enforced.

More importantly, Biden was never like 'Fuck it, I'm the ultimate authority and I don't have to abide by any court's decisions". UNLIKE Mango Mussolini, who does that all the damn time.

They refer to covid-era stuff constantly. I think it'll be used for the next 20 years.
