So, here's a scenario .... Submitted for your approval. Satire, I hope.

Trump has been telegraphing all hell breaking loose on Tuesday.

WHAT IF Putin, Xi, decide to have some fun with him, leak some fake intelligence about a counter-strike?

Fake intelligence costs nothing and easily misleads the boneheads in the White House.

Of course, crapping his drawers won't prove a damn thing, but it could provoke a real crisis.

So, the market was up today on speculation that there would be no ground attack.

https://finance.yahoo.com/sectors/energy/article/trump-backs-away-from-seizing-irans-oil-unfortunately-the-american-people-would-like-to-see-us-come-home-201041843.html

Amid a day with dozens of threats and escalating rhetoric toward Iran, President Trump took a significant step back on one key issue for energy markets: a US campaign to control Iran’s oil.

“I’d like to take the oil because it’s there for the taking,” the president told reporters at the White House easter egg roll. “Unfortunately, the American people would like to see us come home.”

The president said multiple times on Monday that he personally wants to take the oil. “We’d make plenty of money,” he said

But the president repeatedly acknowledged that there might not be political will for such a move, which would likely require a ground operation, saying, “I just don’t think the people of the United States would really understand.”

How much further will he back down on Tuesday?

Inquiring minds want to know.

and Hegseth is so brain-dead he'd do so if he thought the area of the US critiqued his "manly" physique.

Why would he even notice this one?

Just pity the poor handler that changes the diaper.

That's a very revealing phrase. Akin to 'when you're the president, they let you take it'.

It's almost like he entered politics for the freebees.

But somebody owns that oil. It's not like a jump ball.

If I was one of the pilots being asked to fly that mission I would refuse it as an unlawful order. What if they all refuse?
