I keep hearing people say, "he is openly threatening to commit war crimes".

JFC, he committed WAR CRIMES on the very first day of this catastrophe. There is no threatening. He is COMMITTING them daily.

Correct.

Also, US service members clearly have no problem obeying Trump’s unlawful, criminal orders.

Seriously though, an unprovoked, unjust war is the biggest war crime, containining the seed of all war crimes to follow - of which there have been plenty.

So says international law.

For the war crime of depopulation and forced transfer of children. Nothing against him since then, nevertheless he is a fugitive and can't step foot in the 125 countries part of the ICC. However some of his underlings were charged in 2024 with the war crime of destruction of civilian infrastructure. Specifically, of POWER PLANTS. Now Trump wants to do one better than his idol. Will the ICC charge him and to what end? Neither Russia nor the U.S. are signatories to the Statute that created the ICC. And the U.S. under Trump has imposed severe personal-cost sanctions on individual ICC judges - for the "crime" of issuing arrest warrants for Netanyahu et al on charges of war crimes in Gaza.

The ICC is being silenced, blackmailed and diminished. Justice is not being served.
