House Intelligence Chair Rick Crawford swoons to the point of almost losing consciousness over Trump's "backbone."

House Intelligence Chair Rick Crawford: "I wouldn't toy with him if I were the Iranians. You saw what he did in Venezuela. He has a lot of backbone, and he's not going to be dissuaded ... we can sit back and try to get in his head and figure out what he's gonna do. He's not above surprising people."

He is stupid and intractable he’s not got “backbone”. I don’t blame Iran for not negotiating with the guy who can’t keep his word from one day to the next

7. When this is all over, we need to Nuremberg the shit out of this administration, its supporters, and enablers.

Burn them all to the ground and then salt the earth where they once stood so that their darkened fruit never takes root to grow and thrive. It's the only way the United States can ever restore its honor and regain the world's trust. Anything less only makes it easier for lunatic fascism to happen here again.

9. You saw what he did in Venezuela

Yeah, I saw. He destroyed a bunch of boats, killed a bunch of people, dropped some bombs, kidnapped their leader and allowed their second in command to take over.
Otherwise it's business as usual in Venezuela. My guess is that the drug gangs are still doing their thing, although a bit more covertly, and the people are still being ruled by the same violent government.
He essentially inserted himself and his buddies into their oil business. Pretty much an act of aggression for the sake of profit...like a pirate.
It should be noted that Venezuela had about zero ability to defend themselves against us, and offered almost no resistance.

It's not a lot of backbone that he has, it's hubris and greed, plus a extremely powerful gang of enforcers under the control of his handpicked leader of the "Department of War".
He also has a republican Congress full of despicable enablers who never miss an opportunity to suck up to him.
Arkansas republican Representative Crawford is just one of them; a spineless toady.
