OK, a DIPLOMACY QUESTION. If Trump's threatening to bomb the sh*t out of Iran, and they HAVE the downed pilot...

It strikes me as a "bad move" to threaten to bomb Iran back to the stone age if, in fact, they have the second pilot from the fallen jet.

How exactly would threats of death and destruction from a 79 year old diapered madman and former Internet steak salesman inspire them to ensure this person's safety?

The 70s hostages were state Department employees legally in the country. Their being taken hostage was against international law.

Holding a soldier attacking Iran is different. If captured he should be considered a prisoner of war.

So that's different than if our bombs were to "rain" down. Whichever, djt doesn't give a screaming screw because he's mentally ill, plain and simple.

He doesn't care if he is increasing the likelihood of torture, humiliation, death for this pilot.

He doesn't mean it, could give a shit about the "warfighters". That's a godawful term. They're just cannon fodder for his imperialistic daydreams and lust to control the world's oil.
