CNN: US fighter jet shot down over Iran and search is underway, sources say

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump expects the pilot(s) to self-delete before allowing themselves to be captured by Iranian forces. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd been explicitly ordered to do so, for that matter.

And if I were one of those pilots I sure wouldn't expect any help from Trump's White House in being freed from captivity.

Here's hoping US forces are able to find and rescue them before the Iranians do.
