Looks like Fake Lively's case has been gutted. Also, Cryin' Lyin' Reynolds
Couple from HELL!
A few items are still standing. I guess they'll still go to trial? Who knows. I'm on Team Baldoni!

'Popcorn Planet', one of the YT'ers Lively subpoenaed, is Live right now.

(7,722 posts)Unless it's Reynold's team or herself. He's super wealthy with those $50 million paydays for his stupid superhero movies. I suffered through the first one back in the day with my at-the-time teenage son. Never again.

(10,975 posts)Knew them from before Justin was famous. So I've been hearing about this one for a while.
TLDR: Lively and her husband are . . . an entire thing.

Justin and his beautiful wife are classy people!

(23,316 posts)Barely know who she and Baldoni are, just trying to keep the general Me Too protocol straight.

(40,878 posts)Women in the entertainment industry have fought hard against a massive obstacle. "I can't believe _______ would do something like that." (Insert beloved male star, male millionaire producer, male respected director, etc)
She was given the opportunity to be heard in court. A judge ruled against some of those claims, for some others.
It's very strange to look at the Me Too Movement and come away with "Oh, so we have to believe all women, eh?"

(23,316 posts)I did not say or imply that.
I asked why this situation was the exception.

I confess I was lazy. She's had a fine career but that interview........

(57,762 posts)The same with Amber Heard, whom Depp assaulted. It makes me suspicious.

(7,722 posts)He's a POS. He was up to no good in all of his emails concerning Baldoni and Wayfarer. Just my opinion.

(57,762 posts)Your view does not convince me, especially since youve provided nothing but antipathy towards Lively, and now her husband, which has no relevance.
My first post was less about the particulars of this case than the fact that the woman is always demonized, regardless of the facts.

(7,722 posts)Oh, and Kjersti is in fact a woman.

(7,722 posts)She should settle. His defamation suit against Stephanie Jones is gonna be interesting. She stole the phone of Jennifer Abel and that was one of the initial sparks to this debacle. So crazy
Katnip.
(33 posts)Justin is a good guy. I've been following this case from early on. I've even read court files.
It's quite clear BL was trying to commandeer the entire movie and succeeded. Imagine a director being sequestered to the basement of his own movie premiere.
Blake was no victim. She couldn't summon a smidgen of evidence. Not only is this a vindication (partial since the damage is done) but Blake and Ryan have spent tens of millions on litigation fees.
Blake and Ryan are vile people.
Hooray for Justin!

(7,722 posts)I agree with every sentence. She and Reynolds wanted to commander the sequel too. Push Baldoni right out of the picture.
