During her televised hearing her shenanigans took most of the attention off of trump, relegating him to the third or fourth thing that would be reported on during those days. Major no no.

Her hearings also shone a spotlight on how much of a coverup of the epstein files is occuring. Not quite as big a no no as taking attention off of t, but still a no no.

Bondi's done a lot of deeply unethical and openly partisan things as AG, but arguably (in my view) she hadn't yet crossed that bright line into criminality. Like Jeff Sessions - who was fired because he recused himself from the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, and allowed the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller - Bondi was facing some hard choices on the Epstein investigation, and she probably wouldn't give in to Trump.
