If you look closely, whoever did the cartoon put Fetterman in Kirsten Sinema’s weird yellow dress that DU posters made fun of at that time. She was known as a fashion catastrophe and Fetterman is being targeted for adopting her right wing bullshit.

It has nothing to do with transphobia.

It is a mock of another Democratic turncoat, Kyrsten Sinema.

And she was much more than a fashion catastrophe, she was an opportunist who stabbed our party in the back. I know, I worked on her campaign. And I worked even harder to get rid of her after her abysmal behaviour in the Senate.

I have a lot of sympathy for Fetterman for his health issues, but not a bit of sympathy for his betrayal of our principles.

Sinema was a circus clown. Fetterman is now in that zone.

There are many other ways to make the point without stooping to the "she-male" trope and insult.

Makes it easy, doesn't require any brain capacity (his has never been the same since ...) and always raises an eyebrow. Poof, everyone's paying attention to you and treating you as if you're thoughtful and your opinion should be considered (why else would he say it).

That is a duly elected senator from Pennsylvania. We need to listen to him and our big tent no matter what.
