'Psychological' Trump wall on WA's border has repelled a million trips

It's over. And it'll take years to fix.

“I hadn’t seen this before in the 25 years I’ve been living here,” he said.
When he drove up to the Pacific Highway border station, there wasn’t a single other car waiting to go across. On a Friday afternoon, he had all the passport lanes to himself. He sent photos taken through his windshield to prove it.
“There’s been an absolute collapse in Canadians crossing over,” Saunders said. “I don’t think people realize how bad it’s gotten. There are days like this now when you come up on the border, and it feels like it’s been closed down.”

We are not coming back, many have resolutely said they will never go back, Trump or no Trump because of his supporters. The betrayal is deep.

We live in Northwest Washington and love and respect Canada. When I was bike racing I did 24-hour races that crossed the border - 3:00 am and there we'd be, 200 miles into the race, bleary eyed, grimey with road dust, presenting our passports, and we were always wished a great ride!

Keep your resolve, friends - we really have nothing here good that you don't have up there!

ETA: We go to Vancouver.
