I mean that was the most likely response. I think what happened is Trump thought he would kill the Ayatollah and the people would rise up and take over and that’d be that. He probably didn’t listen to anything else because he didn’t want to. This is why it was always so dangerous to put this man back in the White House and have him surrounded by a cult. I don’t see any way out of this except to tuck tail and retreat or turning Iran into Gaza and just leveling it
