This particular MAGAt thought we should get rid of all sorts of Federal agencies - - including FEMA.

The irony is that she lived in a county that had experienced massive flooding. When the local Republican representative advertised that FEMA had just opened a regional office to help affected citizens, she thought this was great! When I pointed out the hypocrisy of her statement, she just laughed.

It was like having a discussion with a toddler. She either couldn't (or wouldn't) understand the problem of wanting to both get rid of FEMA and to praise them for opening a local field office to help the locals.
