Paul Krugman interview about how dumb this administration is

Paul is interviewing a war historian.
I read the transcript on just how stupid this clown train is. Evidently they expected the same kind of result they got in Venezuela.
Wrong.
Therefore no planning past the bombing. The historian thinks there is no good way out for the US.
Ships aren't going to get out of the Persian Gulf..every ship in there is within drone range. Which is why the US Navy isn't going to be escorting ships in or out.
Aside from oil, there is a lot of fertilizer and its feedstock going through the straights. The historian also notes that helium is transported to Taiwan from there. It is critical for semi conductor manufacturing.
