U.S. SENATE BLOCKS EFFORT TO FORCE TRUMP TO END IRAN STRIKES WITHOUT CONGRESS' APPROVAL WITH ALL VOTES COUNTED

U.S. SENATE BLOCKS EFFORT TO FORCE TRUMP TO END IRAN STRIKES WITHOUT CONGRESS' APPROVAL WITH ALL VOTES COUNTED

FinTwitter (@fintwitter.bsky.social) 2026-03-04T21:49:57.803523+00:00

Senate Republicans once again failed to hold Trump accountable. Today's vote sends us down a dangerous path into a potentially endless war.

The American people don't want this war. Trump has no plan.

This risks the lives of more of our troops and will lead to more skyrocketing costs at home.

No one needed to do any deep strategic thinking to realize that getting votes on the record matter when it comes to elections. Even the dumbest people in office get that concept.

It was the REPUBLICANS in Congress joined by that clown Fetterman who did this. Hats off to Rand Paul who was the only Republican to stick to his principles. Make sure the people in Maine & Alaska know that Collins & Murkowski pay for their votes in November.

as well as people, including our military members and their families who suffer because of this war is on their hands. They have failed their duty to the constitution. Trump is demented, Hegseth is a roided out nut job. There is no mandate for this. It is reckless and evil.

Dems need to force a vote for a war tax on billionaires.

. . . is advertising for emergency, immediate hire of "personal effects processor."

When a servicemember is killed/dies overseas, their remains and personal effects are returned to Dover for processing.

Why is Dover hiring -- immediately -- people to work as "personal effects processors" unless the Dept of Defense is expecting a flood of bodies???

Someone needs to ask Trump in a press conference.

The Senate Republicans had a chance to stop this madness in the 1st two impeachments
and they let him go. Trump has been raping, murdering, stealing from the American people,
cheating in elections, working for the Russians, burning America to the ground, using armed
robbery to steal Venezuela’s oil which just by coincidence is now worth more, doing drugs,
and making tens of thousands of future martyrs who will die in order to kill Americans.

There is no question he is evil and that the Senate Republicans know that too.
