Trump Goes on Wild Posting Spree to Try to Shift War Blame

Donald Trump played a game of hypotheticals and then thanked himself in the third person as part of an attempt to deflect blame for his strikes on Iran.

During a Truth Social posting spree, Trump, 79, first made a dubious claim about the nuclear deal agreed to under the Obama administration.

“If I didn’t terminate Obama’s horrendous Iran Nuclear Deal (JCPOA), Iran would have had a Nuclear Weapon three years ago,” he argued. “That was the most dangerous transaction we have ever entered into, and had it been allowed to stand, the World would be an entirely different place right now. You can blame Barack Hussein Obama, and Sleepy Joe Biden.”

He ended the post with an all-caps pat on the back: “THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!”

They are always right, never wrong, and always blame someone else when things go wrong. I really dislike all of them. Jfc

You can find them in the neighborhood bar expounding endlessly on subjects they don't understand. Everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault and their often abused wives keep leaving them.

That is how I picture Trump minus the money, privilege, and power. The tavern blowhard.

When I worked in my Dad's bar, as these assholes got drunker, they got smarter. (sarc) My Dad, being a good Irish bartender, would calm them down by saying the Mets are better than the Yankees. Bar was in the Bronx.

As they get drunker, people try to move away from them, except for the poor patron who is broke and needs Mr. Know-it-all to buy him/her a drink and maybe bum a cigarette.

"As these assholes got drunker, they got smarter." Spot-on!

Trumps grandstanding and deflections. Hegseth’s bullshit and fluffery. Vance’s distancing. Rubio’s fecklessness. Not one of them are capable of speaking straight to the American people because they each have too much to hide. What an utter failure.

That's like saying pulling security from a department store stopped shoplifting. What an insane thing to say. This is why the 25th Amendment was passed.

By bypassing Congress with this illegal war, there's literally nobody else to blame but himself.

I'm sure he understands that now and that's why he's back peddling.

The irony is that his minions would have gladly given him the votes.

Then again, if they gave him the votes, they would definitely lose in the midterms, which would lead to his impeachment.

Catch 22 I guess.

Most intercept missiles will be depleted and Iran won’t talk.

How dumb does a president have to be to start a war with only a few weeks of missile interseptors. The US only produces 7/8 THAAD missiles a month???????

So - it can take $30 million for 2 THAAD missiles to take down a $20,000 Iran drone and Iran produces 800 drones a day!!! Trump is too dumb to do his homework - Generals told him not to do this. And we sell Saudi most of the THAAD missiles we make - only keep back a forth what’s produced for US. Can’t make this shit up.

Now we know where all our money is going.
