IF IT'S ILLEGAL to "illegal to disrupt the Congress and demonstrate," why was Marjorie Taylor Greene NOT ARRESTED?

Remember the yelling stunts from Greene during Biden's SOTU? If...as the Capitol Police assert, it is "illegal to disrupt the Congress and demonstrate in the congressional buildings," WHY THE FUCK WAS GREENE NOT ARRESTED?

A guest of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota, was arrested by Capitol police during the State of the Union address.

Omar had invited Aliya Rahman, a US citizen and Minneapolis resident who in January was removed from her car and dragged by immigration agents in the city as part of the Trump administration’s increased efforts to arrest and deport alleged undocumented immigrants. The officers had been shouting at her to move.

“I’m disabled, trying to go to the doctor up there. That’s why I didn’t move,” Rahman told officers as they pulled her from the car at the time. The officers caused her shoulder injuries, she later said.

During Donald Trump’s speech, Rahman “started demonstrating”, which violated rules for the event, according to the Capitol police.

“The guest was told to sit down, but refused to obey our lawful orders,” the police said in a statement. “It is illegal to disrupt the Congress and demonstrate in the congressional buildings.”

Members of Congress are given more leniency than their staff members or guests, and short outbursts by them are usually tolerated. Continuing outbursts that don't stop after several warnings from the Speaker (such as Al Green's last year), don't even result in arrests. He just got thrown out.

Applies to members of Congress. Not to their guests.

Either its not actually illegal, just improper.
Or it is actually illegal, but not enforced by dems when they have power. Or just not enforced by anyone prior to the current regime.

about double standards. It is only applicable if it serves their own purposes.

I hope we get the chance to throw that back into the GOP’s faces.

Republicans are allowed to commit crimes without consequences. They don’t believe in the rule of law for white people. That’s just how they do things.
If a Democrat commit a crime, or does something that Republicans say is a crime, consequences are immediate. That’s just how they do things.
Democrats must follow the rule of law, Republicans don’t.
